The Fujiyama Mamas

This rockabilly outfit are a 5 strong troupe; with 2 flavours of guitar, bass, thumpin' drums and honky tonk style piano. Throughout their high energy set you will see all 5 members lending a hand at Welch/Rawlings-esque harmonies. For those who don't already know, the namesake is derived from that famous Wanda Jackson hit which made it to number 1 in Japan, making Jackson bigger in the land of the rising sun than the US! 2011 has already seen 2 very successful gigs at the Espy and Bendigo Hotel. It is our goal this year to record an EP and make it out to some rural festivals to spread the Fujiyama fun! "Wow! You're dancin!
