The Fun, formed entirely of angry punk feminists, found eachother in February 2004, when Al the Killer (guitar, vox) and Lilyo (vox, bootyshaker) were sick of music school and decided it was time to bring the fun back into playing.
Bassist Gin and Drummer Spanky were creepily stalked by Lilyo and soon the band was fully formed. They continue to play shows around the Boston area, focusing on making their shows as obnoxiously FUN as possible and following in the footsteps of their heroes, Kathleen Hannah, Rancid, and the Dropkick Murphey's.
