The best kept secret in music

"Recoil Magazine"

"Noise Destroyers is an eccentric album for people who appreciate good musicianship and have a sense of humor..." - Press Excerpt

"Current Magazine"

"The harmonies soar, the lyrics are full of playful surrealism...the songs are stronger than they have any right to be. Noise Destroyers is an album you can feel safe tripping with - comforting, warm and stereophonic." - Press Excerpt

"All Music Guide"

"Noise Destroyers is a matchless result for a band who worked painstakingly hard for a tightly produced, artistically shining album." - Press Excerpt

"The Flint Journal"

"Their laborious recording efforts paid off with a solid album any rock 'n' roll music lover could appreciate." - Press Excerpt

"Music Revue"

"Playing a mixture of beautifully distorted melodies and noise-fueled rock 'n roll, the group generated a spellbinding psychedelic space opera." - Press Excerpt

"Aural Innovations"

"It's all delivered with enthusiasm and a fair amount of humor, but what takes things up a notch or so is their willingness to really f*ck sh*t up, whether it be song structures, production, or in the fact that most everything on here is covered in a big pile of trippy electronics..." - Press Excerpt

"Real Detroit Weekly"

"The Lansing group recently released their second album of spaced-out noises and shoegazer songs, almost entirely recorded on their own...with scattered pieces of instrumental noise and grandiose Brit-rock escapades." - Press Excerpt

"Lansing Noise"

"The noise that these four guys make is an attractively disjunct, effects-Iaden musical sweep that's reminiscent of Radiohead in the OK Computer days. The quasi-nonsense of Veale's fever dream lyrics is layered over with soft electronic warbles, the occasional buzz and bop. And if many of their songs hit on the moody end of ethereal, they sometimes give way to something noisier and more aggressive." - Press Excerpt

"City Pulse"

"The Fuzz's music is a bit addictive after only a couple of listens. The Lansing group's music swirls with an electronic underbelly while still managing to combine elements of indie and punk rock." - Press Excerpt

"The State News"

"What stood out most were the sparkles in the band members' eyes as they rocked out on stage, the audience reacting to every atmospheric note and beat." - Press Excerpt

Feeling a bit camera shy

The Fuzz formed in Lansing, MI in 1998 by Daniel Veale (guitar/vocals), Brandon Raudebaugh (bass), Nathan Brown (synthesizers) and Brandon Mead (drums). Playing an attractively disjunct and effects-laden musical sweep, The Fuzz creates beautifully distorted melodies fueled with elements of noise and space rock.

The group is known for their high-energy, multi-media live performances. Incorporating 8mm films, 35mm slide shows, and an overwhelming abundance of yard gnomes, a Fuzz show is truly unlike any other.

In the summer of 1999, The Fuzz completed their first full-length LP entitled, “Remember to Forget.” The debut album contained 15 original songs written and recorded by The Fuzz.

In 2001, the band quietly released the Raisins & Rubberbands EP This limited release has become somewhat of a collector’s item among fans and friends.

In the spring of 2002, The Fuzz began working on the follow up to “Remember to Forget”. “Noise Destroyers” their second full-length LP was released in January of 2003. The new album contains 12 original songs written, recorded and produced by The Fuzz.

The Fuzz is currently seeking a recording contract. They have performed live at the 2003 NEMO Music Conference in Boston, MA.
