 Los Angeles, California, USA
BandPopRock

Two sassy girls with guitars channeling the spirit of Weezer.

Biography

Aliya Hashemi and Miranda Zeiger were two independent singer/songwriters who met in a songwriting workshop in Los Angeles and instantly bonded over their love of Weezer, The Beatles, and The Smiths.

They joined their creative forces and soon discovered the rare and remarkable blend of their voices, enhancing their hook-drenched, melodic-pop gems. The Gajillionaires were born.

The Gajillionaires' Weezer-esque guitar parts, and high-energy live shows, complete with distorted guitar and drums, result in a fun and satisfying experience.

Lyrics

Rock N' Roll Guru

Written By: Hashemi/Zeiger

I've got your t-shirt and your hoodie too
Got all your albums and my favorite one's blue
I want to live in Beverly Hills with you

Be my, be my, be my rock n' roll Guru

I get to hang with you in my dreams
You say be patient, I don't know what that means
Someday you're gonna write a hit song with me
You're gonna write a hit song with me!

Be my, be my, be my rock n' roll guru

We will destroy the stage
With distortion and flames
And then we'll fly above a crowd of millions chanting our names

Rock n' roll guru

Just Your Homie

Written By: Hashemi/Zeiger

I'm pulling up my thigh-highs
Short skirt, red lips that you like
Going to the party at the hotel
But not with you, not tonight

Did you think that you're the Earth and I'm the moon?
That all my days and nights are revolving around you?

I think by now you oughta know me
If you want me step up and show me
What makes you think I'm just your homie?

You want me for your princess
Your dream come true, number one
And if you show me you adore me
Rockin' all night, lots of fun

I'm your Venus shining brighter than the stars
Better wake up if you want to be my Mars

I think by now you oughta know me
If you want me step up and...
I think by now you oughta know me
If you want me step up and show me
What makes you think
What makes you think
What makes you think I'm just your homie
I'm so much more
I'm so much more
I'm so much more than just your homie
