The Gardeners

The Gardeners are a band steeped in a principal of honest to goodness down home Rock’nRoll music. Songwriters Gilbert Carranza and Adam Picasso evoke such an attainable fun for all sound, in numerous but equally important ways. First and foremost are their shared influences. From The Beatles to The Rolling Stones to The Clash just to name a few. However it is safe to say that much of their music’s warmth and body comes from gigging and visiting the spots in endless abundance in the greater Los Angeles area. The vibrant, exciting, and diverse atmosphere that makes this city world renowned is perhaps the greatest backdrop where the very same elements are captured in The Gardeners brand of Rock’nRoll.

Just as the genera of Rock’nRoll itself is a hodgepodge of Country along with Rhythm and Blues music, so to best describes The Gardeners body of work. Each song may transport the listener through various paths of Rockabilly, Glam, Country, or blues music, yet each is connected through an underlying attitude that is strictly their own.
