The success story for WOF this year, said Julian, is the local band The Garrison Delight (TGD), a rock group comprised of members from Berklee College of Music in Boston. The label produced an EP, a short length album, for the rock group, and booked them for shows around Boston at The Paradise Rock Lounge, The Western Front and others.

Bio
Meet one of Boston's newest pop/funk band sensations, The Garrison Delight. After beating out 75 bands last spring, they won a contract with Wax on Felt Records and put together their debut EP at Sanctum Sound. Since then, they have been performing at venues throughout Boston and Cambridge--most recently to a near sell-out crowd at the Paradise Lounge for their cd release show. Consisting of mostly Berklee students, The Garrison Delight delivers their original songs with an electric energy that keeps the crowd wanting more.
Their impressive resume continues to grow as they just recently were selected out of 45 bands to perform at the New Music Festival, at the insanely prestigious Berklee Performance Center. With lead vocalist Chris Franzen, Drummer Ryan Dryburgh, Guitarist Stash Wyslouch, Bassist Dre Ochoa, and
Keyboardist Cole DeGenova, this international group of musicians will surely become a huge presence within the New England music scene.
