In 2005, the digital record label ItsAboutMusic re-issued The Gentz 1st album. Sales were good enough to warrant a new album "Rock City" released on 2006. In 2008 The Gentz released "Rising From The Ashes" which was mixed by legendary producer Don Casale (The Rascals, InnaGoddaDavida, Arethe Franklyn, Etc). Recently, The Gentz have just completed work on a new album and will be releasing it during the summer of 2010 and would like to tour behind it. In 2010, The Gentz formed their own record label 'Gentz Entertainment LLC" to release, distribute and market their own product and product of other artists.

Lyrics

Peace On Earth

Written By: Richard Lane

There's a boy in Red China, there's a girl in Moscow.
Take away the basic difference, and there's a universal sound

It's the agony and not the ecstasy that makes a man put his best foot forth
and it's a waiting game and not the sound of your name that gets your foot inside the door

We need some Peace on earth, Goodwill toward man
It's the message of the day do the best that you can
You say you've got a lot, give a little away
Save the world, help a child to a better day.

There's a cloud that hovers over, There's and eagle in the sky
Protect your sisters and your brothers, You've got to try you've got to try

We need some anarchy we can't just let it be
while the world lives in shades of hate
No more standing by without a reason why
We have to act before it gets too late

We need some Peace on earth, Goodwill toward man
It's the message of the day do the best that you can
You say you've got a lot, give a little away
Save the world, Help a child to a better day

It's Not Too Late

Written By: Richard Lane

The band is playing their very last song
And we've been at this bar way too song
I wish that we were somewhere far away
In another time maybe another place

So let's drink, to what we once had
Remember the good, forget about the bad
Someday baby, we'll look back and say
Let's have a drink for the good old days

You know it's not too late
So how can you, just walk away
You know it's not too late
So how can you, just walk away from me

Your heart is beating it's time for your escape
Because the stronger you love, the stronger you will hate
Make your move right now or forever hold your peace
Hey baby, we need some release

You know it's not too late
So how can you, just walk away
You know it's not too late
So how can you, just walk away from me.

Hollywood Rose

Written By: Richard Lane

She was born the daughter of a working girl
Her father she never knew
Her mother worked the alleys of a shipyard town
She never had time for school

At fourteen years she was out in LA
Trying to be a Rock Star
She got caught up in the glamorous life
Where you never know who you are

Well, I found the letter
So tell the detective that
She was just tired of living
She was just tired of giving
everyone called her Hollywood Rose

She was married and divorced by the time she was twenty
Second kid on the way
Everyone said it was just a mistake
What else could they say

Well, I found the letter
So tell the detective that
She was just tired of living
She was just tired of giving
Everyone called her Hollywood Rose
