The Get'em was founded by Daryl Barnhart, Chris Carr and Brad Ward in April 06'. Although originally intended on being a cover band, The Get'em found that people were more interested in hearing their original songs than the covers.
In Sept 06' Chris left the band to go to school. Daryl and Brad spent the next several months playing with other local musicians but were unable to find the right bassist and drummer.
As fate would have it, Chris grew tired of school and returned to Niagara with his bass in one had and eletro-digits in the other. Enlisting the help of Carr's close friend, jazz drummer Steve Roberts. The Get'em spent the summer recording their six song e.p called Make Room that is set for a fall release.
