Jumping right out of your speakers with tremendous rip-roaring brio with the exceptionally stirring “8 Ball,” this terrific pop-rock album delivers one delightfully hoppin’ and tuneful song after another. The marvelously exuberant vocals project a galvanizing sense of positively infectious joy and vigor. The ringing guitars, sturdy drums, and springy basslines keep things lively, harmonic and exciting throughout. Moreover, the lyrics are sharp and thoughtful, the melodies bright, bouncy and insanely catchy, and the playing tight and punchy. A hugely enjoyable little pip.

Bio

The Glorious Veins formed near the end of 2007 and hit the NYC scene hard. Within a few monthes the band was playing at all the indie rock venues throughout the city. The band's sound, with its compelling mix of crooner melodies and post-punk dance grooves, was refined into a ten track demo that they recorded over the course of two days in March of '08. With their demo in hand, The Glorious Veins are gaining momentum and establishing a conspicuous presence in the city. This unique and diverse foursome hail from four entirely different backgrounds spread over three continents. They came together with a mutual appreciation for all kinds of styles and a predilection for blending these influeneces to create a sound all their own.
"we got together and from the first note a new life began to emerge and take control, half the time we cant understand each other verbally because of our many different cultural and demographical backgrounds but we found that we can speak and understand each other perfectly through sound"
Teddy Yoon(bassist)
