…Your Pain” is an intriguing tune that combines jazz with sounds that border on the old psychedelic act H.P. Lovecraft and rockers Grand Funk at their most blues-influenced. It is an extended song in terms of length and features some exceptionally hot guitar soloing.
…The Glowflies are extremely talented musicians.

Birth of the Glowfly isn’t difficult to listen to…there’s always something different coming at the listener’s ears. For a three piece, they do a great job at combining different rhythms, changing tempos on the fly, and instilling fun into their music. This album is one that you throw into your car’s cd player on a sunny day, or play on your patio when you’re with a bunch of people having a great time.
