Bio
If ever in their vicinity, you'll notice the members of The Goods immerse themselves in music: playing music, listening to music, studying music, thinking about music, talking about music.
Formed in the spring of 2005 in Dayton, Ohio, The Goods create its unique sound by blending elements of progressive rock, jam, trance and funkāand making it all its own. The explosion of electronic-infused rock showcased at live shows displays the band's originality and explains the crowd's awed reverie.
In 2004, drummer Mike Doyle and former guitarist Brad Pace played in a band at the University of Dayton that eventually birthed The Goods. The following year additions of bassist Mike Schneider and keyboardist Nate Springhart were two more essential pieces to the puzzle. In 2009 Cody Otten, guitarist and shredder extraordinaire, replaced Pace after he moved out west and The Goods is now stronger and tighter than ever.
With a slightly harder edge and tighter jams, The Goods is experimenting with its progressive jam-rock sound, merging abstract jams with synched melodies, tight musicianship, and even adding a little hard rock rasp to the mix.
Whether you are in the mood for a high-energy dance party or just want to chill and take in the music, The Goods will bring a funky fresh originality and sound like no other.
With the quirkiness of Doyle, Otten, Springhart and Schneider combined, they are The Goods. Let their music resonate and then come back for more.
