Biography

In the beginning, there were The Good Tangerines. The brothers found music early on in their lives and saw that it was good. The next day they created The Good Tangerines. Seeing that the new simple blend of guitar mandolin and vocal harmonies were good, the brothers decided to take the act on the road, placing their song into the minds and hearts of people everywhere. Their love and passion for simple, yet moving music has given them a unique label and has won over many. In the beginning were The Good Tangerines, and we have a feeling the end is going to look quite the same.

--The Good Tangerines have played extensively throughout the United States, and have seen many musical accomplishments in their time together. In the midst of touring, constructing a fan base, and airplay, they have found themselves on the next tier of music, and have been placed in the minds and hearts of people everywhere. Look for them on "The United States of Americana" (Shut-Eye Records).

Lyrics

Evangeline

Written By: Edward Boyer

I've had toomuch to drink and I think that we're going down right.
But the road here seems longer, than it has every night.
And you thought you knew, who I was.
But do you know who, I've become.

Evangeline.
Tell me I'm wrong.
And give me a way.
A way to feel strong.
He had you right.
When he said so long.
So pull me back in.
And build me up strong.
Lalalalalalala.

I've had some time to think, and I think that we're doing okay.
Because the road here seems longer, than it has anyway.
And you thought you knew, who I was.
But do you know who, I've become.

Evangeline.
Tell me I'm wrong.
And give me a way.
A way to feel strong.
He had you right.
When he said so long.
So pull me back in.
And build me up strong.
Lalalalalalala.
