Bio
Hailing from Long Island, NY, THE GOODWILL need no boastful bio or lavishly exaggerated track record of their work ethic or dedication. The band's hard work and accomplished goals speak for themselves, and now signed to Abacus Recordings (the new hardcore imprint of Century Media Records) the band plan on raising the bar even further!
The band's debut full-length was released on Negative Progression Records in February 2003. Entitled, 'That Was A Moment', the album has gone on to sell nearly 4,000 copies worldwide, the most in the history of the small indie label. Following the release of That Was A Moment, they quickly made for the road. That summer, THE GOODWILL spent two and a half weeks on the Warped Tour followed by a U.S Tour with Hidden In Plain View, and short stints with Boys Night Out, Catch 22, and Bayside. The band also performed at this year's annual Skate Fest in Mass, and also alongside Taking Back Sunday, Coheed And Cambria, and The Starting Line. They just recently performed at a CMJ showcase in New York City with Scatter The Ashes, The Snake, The Cross, The Crown and Endicott.
The band just recently finished recording their second full-length, titled Insult, Injury, Etc., at Atomic Studios with Dean Baltulonis(Brand New, Hazen St and The Bouncing Souls) in New York. The band has already taken to the road and are now doing a mini-tour alongside Tokyo Rose, and Park in November.
More excited than ever to take their careers to new heights, the band is preparing to hit the road non-stop in support of the new record, which hits stores on March 8, 2005. As the major priority on Abacus Recordings, this band will be championed and pushed as much as it takes, and if their past determination was a taste of their potential, the future looks bright!
