The Great Fire of London had an ethereal edge, mainly due to the voice floating above the cool backing. Keyboards, drums, guitar and bass and female vocal. Laidback, floating in the pool sipping on a cool drink. There’s an edge of melancholy at times, but its part of the trip you are on. The Great Fire of London have a very original sound, making us hard to categorize into a genre. With rock, funk, jazz and classical influences our songs are composed with high attention to detail. With all members classically trained and with four of the five have either completed or are midway through tertiary music degrees, we combine excellent instrumental and compositional skills.
