Bio

Is our world upside down or is it just that we are not of this world? "The Great Reversal"...the last will become first and vise-versa, comprised of Norman and Lisa Garcia, is an engaging Christian duo from Atlanta, Georgia.

The Great Reversal recently released their English debut album, “Prodigal’s Return,” a contemporary worship album with eleven intimate, original songs co-produced by Vince Emmet (Ginny Owens, Rebecca St. James, Paul Colman, etc.) The album is indefinably unique and dynamically vibrant, using intricate chord progressions and harmonies to enhance lyrics that cry out for a deeper knowledge of the heart of God Songs like “So Amazing,” “Who,” & “The Angels’ Song” have a distinct Beatles’ influence. Others, such as “Who Have I But You,” “You Are Love,” and “Prodigal’s Return” are associated by fans and producers, such as Billy Smiley, with music from The Swell Season’s first album “Once.”

The Great Reversal has been leading worship since the mid 90’s, in Spanish and English, in the United States and Latin America, with some of their music being heard on Spanish radio stations in the U.S. and abroad. They’ve led worship at various churches/ministry events, with evangelists such as Luis Palau and Carlos Anacondia, and, more recently, through local radio and television stations. They understand uniting with God’s heart through worship, and they lead weekly devotional sets at IHOP (International House of Prayer), Atlanta, a 24/7 prayer and worship center.

“Our ministry is about reconciliation - bringing mankind into intimacy with our Heavenly Father, through our Savior, Jesus Christ. The songs we write come from our deepest longing for oneness with the Creator—the lover of our souls. We are so grateful for all he has done for us—for his mercy, and his unconditional love. We hear God’s voice calling the ‘least of these’ the greatest in his kingdom; and we're following that voice.”
The Great Reversal has partnered with Bethany Christian Services to share their music and their personal testimony of adopting three children from the foster care system, at Bethany adoption recruiting events. They also support The Zoe Foundation, a Christian organization promoting adoption over abortion. They minister at churches and play for benefit concerts around the U.S. and abroad. Their music is available on iTunes, www.TheGreatReversal.net, and through all the social networks.
