Bio
The Grey Area is a Boston band balancing on the line of rock and electronic music. The band has been a staple of the Festivus festival in Hartford, as well as making a festival appearance at PA's Muddy River Jam Festival in August of 2009.
The Grey Area's shows are explosively spontaneous. Weaving from long, improvised spaciously-danceable segments to tightly polished, fine-tuned songs, The Grey Area has a way of really captivating their audience. The Grey Area are masters of controlling their energy, bringing their audience along for a ride from chill to fire, maintaining it's groove-heavy danceability the whole time.
The Grey Area has played shows alongside Ott, Orchard Lounge, Telepath, The Breakfast, Elliott Lipp, 2020 Soundsystem, as well as numerous other national and international acts. The band has played some of Boston's finest night clubs, including The Middle East Downstairs, Harper's Ferry and a plethora of others.
The Grey Area has worked with some of Boston's best promotion teams, including JMP Live, Hear Now Live, Onslaught Entertainment, and Team Shred Productions.
