Bio

Having played in rival bands in high school, Robert and Nathan have been friends for the better part of two decades, and teamed up musically for the first time in 1999 to form the band 'Brand New Day'.
After touring the east coast of Canada with their debut album in early 2000 the band broke up after two nights in Truro, one hotel room brawl, and way way too many beers.
Robert and the other members continued on under a different name (Breather) for a few years while Nathan split his time between the band 'Blue Sundays' and Limelight Theatre, where he served as assistant musical director and performer on several theatrical productions where he would work with long time friend, and Limelight Theatre director, Mike Grove.
Together Mike and Nathan would win Neptune Theatre's Fringe Festival 'Fringe Hit' for their work on Mike's own 'Rahman's Children'.
After the collapse of 'Breather' and 'Blue Sundays' Nathan and Robert decided to "finally write the album they've been wanting to for years." They started writing together in 2005 and, with cello accompaniment, debuted the early works of what would become The Grey Between's first album that summer.
Later, when Rob decided the band was going to need a piano player to create the perfect record, Nathan knew exactly who to call. With one phone call to Mike (now Farrell-Grove) the band was in need of only one more thing, a solid drummer. After auditioning several drummers who just didn't seem to fit within the bands structure, along came the most obvious choice of all, Robert's brother, and longtime rock drummer, Ryan Comeau. And with this the final line-up of The Grey Between was complete.
The band then enlisted the genius of producer extrordinaire Tim Feswick to take the helm for their first full length CD.
and thus the grey between was born...
