Bio
The Groove Therapy Band is a classic rock and blues based band with influences from many genres of music. Mining material from the last 60 years of nuggets and shaping it with their own unique sound, they have created something truly original.
Groove Therapy was formed in 2004 by a string of coincidences. Steve and Tom P. have been friends and neighbors for, oh, 'bout 20 years. Tom P. and Tom J. (henceforth called "Sweetness" to keep our Toms straight) met while working at a common jobsite. As they are prone to do, B.S. ensues and they discover a mutual interest (music). It is decided that a jam is in order. Well, Sweetness knows this English bloke, Nick, who also plays. Let's get it on. "Voila", a most excellent sound is born. After a couple sessions, during a break in the action, Nick and Steve discover that from some 30 years earlier " Hey, I know you from high school". The circle is complete.
