The Groovocrats

The Groovocrats is a power trio that joined forces in the bars and clubs of New Orleans. Featuring members from all corners of the globe; The Groovocrats used their cultural differences to their advantage. With a total disregard for paper made genres, labels and styles, they are able to accommodate the Psychedelic Soul Rock inspiration and the Love of the timeless: Hendrix, Parliament Funkadelic, James Brown, Sly and Curtis Mayfield… and the Total Sound Abyss that made them want to pick their instruments in the first place… Nirvana, Pearl Jam, Jane’s Addiction, RHCP and many others…

Fronted by the Portuguese born, Anti-poet, Guitar Virtuoso: Orlando da Silva. The Groovocrats sound is fired up by Louisiana Native, Bonham strong, baby faced: Daniel Camardelle. Who on Drums lays down the essential dynamic canvas and triggers the dynamite explosions that set this band apart. This colorful fusion of sound and smell is pocketed by the solid-but-never-simplistic, groove slave and sergeant of the low frequency. Spanish born, Bass Player: Hector Gamiz.
