The Grundleliers lay claim to the urban sprawl of New York City. With their Queens staging ground the young foursome has become a serrated rock band steeped in driving melodies, searing guitars and pure rhythm & soul.
The band emerged from a recording session at the helm of Joe Vasquez (drummer) at the now defunct Canvas Studios in Brooklyn, NY. Shared sensibilities kept Drew Smith (Vocals, Guitar) and Jeff Fraska (Lead Guitar) continually working with Vazquez on side projects until eventually the formalities were abandoned and they chained him to their basement until he agreed to sign away his life to The Grundleliers.
The Undercarriage EP was recorded at Metrosonic Studios in Brooklyn with the help of engineer Michael Trepagnier, and will be released under Chowda House Records.
