Just a comment on the Too Tall Guilty Lineup band. Now that I've seen a whopping grand total of like 3 shows, I can say this.. actually I don't know how to say this without sounding kiss ass but I'll try anyway. They have more songs that I wouldn't ever hit NEXT on a CD player than most any band I can think of. Based on the core songs I've heard they could make an album today that'd be in my "Must Carry" CD case for sure. -

Oh one final note, I was sitting talking to a local performer who has been around the music scene for a long time. We sat there and watched the Guilty Lineup do their set and he leaned over to me and said.Rock N Roll is alive and is coming back. He pointed to the stage and said those kids get it, and most of these (pointing to the audience) are kids and they... and then he got distracted by someone coming up to say hello. But I think I understood what he meant. Real music is still being made and by people of an age that hasn't had much opportunity to hear good music on the radio thanks to souless corporations like Clearchannel. And there are young people out there who show up to appreciate it and support it. -

All three Guilty Lineup members were born and raised in the Lone Star state. Travis and Zach are from Houston, while Chris was born eight hundred miles west in El Paso, TX.
Travis “TooTall” Bettis was born into a rock and roll family where the transition from amateur to pro was very easy. Zach was opposite in his training where has been trained classically since the age of eight. Chris on the other hand has been trained through gospel, mastering every instrument.
Collectively as a band, the Guilty Lineup has played with B.B. King, Michael Tate (DC Talk), Martina McBride’s band(2006), Reba Macintire’s Band (2006), Craig Morgan, Particle, Dark Star Orchestra, Johnny Neel (Allman Brothers), Ekoostik Hooka, Van Wilks, Scott McGill, and “Big Al” Bettis.
Throughout traveling the south, they have entertained thousands of fans from the white collar to the blue, from dirty rock and blues bars, to upper class stages. What sets The Guilty Lineup apart from other rock bands is the driving force that starts from the first note to the very last. The music has never been trapped in any one genre, but ranges through many. It was said best by Clear Channels 93.7 Houston DJ, Joannie Maverick, “These guys are the power trio from Hell”. This is a three piece band that sounds bigger than most five piece rock bands.
