The Guns are 4 piece rock ‘n’ roll band that are renowned for their frantic, live rock n roll performances. This track ‘Treacle & Pie’ showcases not only the crunching guitar riffs and melodic solos, but also combines with an instantly catchy hook that will have you singing it over and over in you head .....

Formed in the valleys of South Wales in 2006, and following a handful of successful shows during their first year, The Guns were given the opportunity to support fellow Welsh artists, Lost Prophets, and from there built up a massive fan base on the strength of those live performances. After being nominated for a welsh music award, The Guns played on the main stage at The Full Ponty Festival in Pontypridd, South Wales, and had the crowd jumping and singing along to their catchy rock ‘n’ roll tracks, including fan favourite ‘Gordon’s and Lemonade’.

The Guns’ debut album release, entitled ‘With The Guns’ was independently released on iTunes with no record label and no advertising. Within three days it landed into the iTunes alternative album chart at number 18. An amazing result considering the album was self-released with no publicity, just the loyal fan base that the band has gained along the way.

The Guns released a video for “It’s on like Donkey kong” on Christmas day. The video was totally self financed by the band and planned and filmed all in 2 days. It had 7000 hits over the christmas period on you tube and is currently number 1 in the punktastic TV chart.

The band has just completed mastering their 2nd album ready for release in the near future. With 2 albums worth of material, catchy rock ‘n’ roll and a loyal fan base, The Guns are preparing to go back out on the road and tour to promote both records in the U.K and further afield.
