The Gypsy Lizards - an all female band - aims to rock the world with their blend of hip psychedelic sounds, and slick modern groove.

Together since their young teens, founding members Cait on guitar and Meg on lead vocals and bass, have been joined by Jenna on drums. The band has progressed an incredible amount in a short period of time, and have played many gigs at high profile venues around the Toronto area including The Opera House, The Reverb, York University and DC Theater. Reviews of their performances have been very positive and they are very well received by both industry professionals and ever-growing fans. In a world full of cookie-cutter bands trying to cash in on the latest passing fad, The Gypsy Lizards is a rare band that holds its roots in a strong passion and respect for rock’s history combined with a deep desire to make the best music possible.

The girls’ song writing skills have been widely acclaimed, and their home-grown arsenal includes their three very popular melodies Mary, What More Can I Do and Just Dangling - with heartfelt real-world lyrics based on their every day experiences of life’s up and downs.

The Gypsy Lizard’s first studio recordings have been well received on the internet, and the band is now gearing up to work on their first major CD, which is schedule for release in late 2010.
