Lyrics

The Song

Written By: Taylor Fletcher

We sing the songs that people sing
Got them melodies like ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
We sing the songs that people sing
Got them melodies like ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
Sing the songs that people sing
Got them melodies like ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
Ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
(Oh the melodies go)
Ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh

We sing the songs that people sing
Got them melodies like ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
Sing the songs that people sing
Got them melodies like ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
Ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
(The melodies go)
Ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh

Sing your songs of freedom
Praise the God of heaven
Mellow down, easy child
And don't worry but just love
Don't worry just love
Don't worry just love

So turn the music up louder than the pain
We'll sift through it all and we'll see what remains
You'll find that his love endures forever
Even through the bad times and that stormy weather
Singin' songs to the King
Offered up as a humble offering
And if you know what I mean
Lift your mind, your soul, your voice, your song and sing

Sing your songs of freedom
Praise the God of heaven
Mellow down, easy child
And don't worry but just love
Don't worry just love
Ya don't worry just love

We sing the songs that people sing
Got them melodies like ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
We sing the songs that people sing
Got them melodies like ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
Ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh
(Oh the melodies go)
Ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh, ouh

We sing the songs of the meek and pure
Persecuted and poor
For those who make peace
For those who mourn and the merciful
And all of yall who are still hungry
Won't you sing with me
To Him for our strength

Sing your songs of freedom
Praise the God of heaven
Mellow down, easy child
And don't worry but just love
Don't worry justa

Much More Than a Dream

Written By: Taylor Fletcher

A prophet who speaks in rhymes
Leans up against a street sign
His card board weighed with the divine
He's telling me it's time
To believe that reality is much more than a dream

Lord have mercy on me
For who I am, who I was, and I will be
I can't make two plus two equal three
I can't make the lost man free
'Cause reality is much more than the...

Dreams we perceive
Than the minds that bind the limits of time
Than the pain we to often see
Than the joy that longs to be conceived
And like the rush of a Summer day
Or a pretty lady walkin' your way
It'll all come together in me
Just like th0se birds and the bees

I got me a seed
Planted it and watched it grow
Loved it for what it gave to me
There's still so much about it I don't know
'Cause reality is much more than it seems

I read a book, now I know it all
So I'm right and your wrong
'Cause I know everything, I went to college
Arguing that way is such a waste of knowledge
'Cause reality is much more than the

Dreams we perceive
Than the minds that bind the limits of time
Than the pain we to often see
Than the joy that longs to be conceived
Like the rush of a Summer day
Or a pretty lady walkin' your way
It'll all come together in me
Oh yes it will
Just like the dreams we perceive
Than the minds that bind the limits of time
Than the pain we to often see
Than the joy that longs to be conceived
Like the rush of a Summer day
Or a pretty lady walkin' your way
It'll all come together in me
Just like those birds and the bees

Just like them birds and bees

Follow You into Your garden
Shed my skin at the gate
We'll lie naked in our souls
For Your garden bears no fruit from hate
Just to walk hand in hand
Together with You again my friend
Would mean more to me
Than eternity

Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again

I've nearly forgotten my first love
Perfect and from up above
Oh but love has never left me
Like Hosea stands beside me
And a Gomer I may be
But love covers all and saves me
And over seventy times seven
You've left the ninety-nine
To rescue me every time

Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again

'Cause it's crazy the way this world moves
And I can't imagine living it here without You
'Cause it's crazy the way this world moves
And I can't imagine living it here without You
'Cause it's crazy the way this world moves
And I can't imagine living it here without You
'Cause it's crazy the way this world moves
And I can't imagine living it here without You

Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
Pick me up Lord
'Cause I want to be in love again
