The Haps

 Terre Haute, Indiana, USA
BandComedyAcoustic

We are The Haps, and we're going to blow up all your kidneys. We've got an eclectic catalogue of covers (Bowie, Beatles, Fleetwood, Gaga) as well as original music. We love making people laugh, sing, dance, and cry. Travis does all the hard work while Rachelle stands there and looks pretty. Rock.

Biography

Relatively new to the Terre Haute music scene, singer/songwriter Rachelle Martin Wilburn has been singing her whole life. When she's not singing she's probably bartending, being crafty, blogging, or sleeping.

Travis Dillon (Yearbook Committee and D-Railed) has been playing live music in Terre Haute for years. He is a master loop pedaler, harmonica player, guitar player and keyboardist. If you're lucky he'll do it all at the same time.

Travis and Rachelle met in the theatre department at Indiana State University. They have spent several years together doing improv comedy in the troupes Condiments Upon Request and Drive By Comedy. The first original song they wrote, "The Ballad of The Haps" was a complete accident, and was recorded in one night. Several open mic nights, private party gigs, and bar gigs later they are in the process of recording their first album.
