Biography

Welcome! The Headfood is an American alternative funk-rock band, hailing from the town of Bel Air, Maryland. The band kept its initial lineup from September 2008 to July 2010; a lineup which consisted of Scott Campo, Caleb Dorsch, Dave Wise, and Brian Lindsey. In July 2010, Chris Bauer joined the band to take over on the bass. The band is inspired by funk-driven artists such as Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sly and the Family Stone, and Average White Band as well as piano-driven alternative rock acts such as Coldplay, The Fray, and Jack's Mannequin. This variety of influences is crucial in contributing to the band's unique sound, a blend of hard funk and alternative rock.
