South Africa is exploding with a new wave of creative energy. Art and music are becoming one of S.A's hottest exports and the quality of material emerging out of the ashes is nothing short of spectacular. The Head Honchos is one of the bands spearheading a brand new sound that is a direct result of dealing with day to day life in modern South Africa.
The Head Honchos had their first practice session in the late months of 2007. A shared artistic goal and musical symbiosis were the factors that drew the members together. The five piece is eclectic mix of backgrounds and influences, including trained musicians and soulful performers.
Influences African Artists from all genres,from Incubus, Jimi Hendrix, Bob Marley, Fat freddys Drop to Various Hip Hop artists. The Head Honchos really do listen to every kind of music and are influenced and inspired by it all
