Bio

The Heaven Seventies are not a rock band. Rock shows are boring. Our shows are like this:

Our members have worked as video editors, dance and hip-hop producers, advertising executives, recording engineers, and songwriters. We have energy, personality, intensity, and direction. Our first show was 9 months in the making -- and our second show promptly sold out.

We combine danceable beats with hook-laden pop songwriting. We have a keen understanding for what makes a song appealing and what makes a song chart. Every one of our songs goes through an extremely in-depth and documented editing process before we consider it finished. We've been in lots of other bands before, but we're not indie rockers; we study the Billboard Hot 100.

The h70s are an aural, visual, and social experience. We will produce and remix other artists under the h70s brand name. We believe that the "write-record-release-tour" cycle is outdated and inherently flawed, and we find and interact with our audience in creative ways.

Fans sing along at our shows, even though we've only played two of them. People we've never met send us email begging us for recordings. We think we're on to something. This is only the beginning.
