Written, recorded and mixed by C.Hill and R.Salazar III of the Heavy. This first pre-band demo was the beginning of The Heavy's sound, vision and style. They are now working on a new soundscape for all to enjoy.

The Heavy were originally formed in Toronto in 2006 by Christopher Hill & Ruby Salazar III.
They strive on writing great songs filled with catchy, rhythmic melodies and hooky guitar riffs. Their songs will stay inside your head, leaving you singing throughout the night. The Heavy are a mix of the royalty of the Brits, the elegance of glam, the energy of punk and the accessibility of good old rock n' roll. Call it the "New Rev", The Heavy are setting their sites on forming a new scene and sound that will combine all their vast influences of Pop, Rock, Punk, Blues, Folk, Electronica, Country and New Wave to capture a snapshot of today's modern world mixed with yesterdays golden memories.
Don't be fooled by imitations....this is the heavy. The original. Not the band from the U.K who has came years later and are currently stealing the identity. Who is the heaviest of all?... only time can show and tell this.
The band is currently recording their debut album with Canadian artist Roz Bell.
