" show review"

"The Heights Band took stage and blew me away...Their mix of southern rock, garage rock, and blues really hit the spot. They looked very comfortable on stage and for the first time that night the floor was full of people rocking out. Their set ended with me wanting a lot more."
-Brian McConnville -

From the rubber suburbs of Akron, Ohio comes a raw talent channeling the likes of Brand New, Led Zeppelin, Built to Spill and Modest Mouse. Comprised of wayward warrior instrumentalists who take to the stage like theyre arming for battle, the band otherwise known as Ryan, Dustin, Kyle, and Richie are here to blow the lid off a venue, near you. That band is The Heights Band.

The Heights Band is an extremely talented group of young men who play like wildfire in a hayfield. Their bold brand of raucous rock excites crowds and energizes even the sullenest of scenes. Among their standout achievements, The Heights Band has rocked shows all over the United States, playing in places like Allentown, PA, and the Motor City itself, Detroit (Rock City), MI. The fearsome foursome has also opened for Stone Temple Pilots & Cage The Elephant in 2010 and The Buffalo Killers in 2011, which has helped to make The Heights Band a standout favorite in the Ohio area music scene.

Founded in Akron in 2008, The Heights Band is comprised of lead singer and guitarist Dustin Dockery and the ever-riveting Ryan Dockery on rhythm guitar and backing vocals. The electric Kyle Finley commands the bounce behind the bass and slam master Richie Levers shows no mercy on the drums. Unique about The Heights Band is that they are a truly collaborative effort. All members of the band contribute to their song writing; something that so is increasingly rare in todays electronic music era.
