The Helix Project was once described as sounding like a barrel going over a waterfall through the spine of the universe, and we take our audience with us! Have a nice flight and thank you for traveling with us. ( :

Biography

The Helix Project is four guys who have been playing and writing music professionally for many years. Veterans of the local music scene in South Florida, we decided to band together to play our originals after we recognized our common music vision. Bands like the Allman's, Dead and Phish are some of our favorites. Combining solid chops and insightful songwriting, we forged our own sound.
Taking it out there in the jam band tradition, combining eclectic influences, and getting the audience on their feet dancing is what we do best.

Brighter Side

Written By: Glenn Allen

BRIGHTER SIDE

I’ve seen my cities scarred and torn,
My children damned before they’re ever born,
Hopes and dreams have been cast aside,
Whatever happen to the brighter side?
The brighter side of life,

Please listen people, heed the call,
If we don’t we may lose it all,
Our mother’s crying for what it’s worth,
Our home is dying, our mother earth,
Hopes and dreams have been cast aside,
Whatever happen to the brighter side?
The brighter side of life,

Look within and open up your hearts,
And let the love come shining through,
For that is when the healing starts,
It’s all up to me and you...

I’ve seen my cities scarred and torn,
My children damned before they’re ever born,
Hopes and dreams have been cast aside,
Whatever happen to the brighter side?
The brighter side of life,
