Bio

"I can hear the rock but where's the roll gone?"

To The Hertz Complex, the hazy hours of a random Monday evening in South London delivered one stolen phone, one jacket acquired in a game of pool, one encounter that secured their first gig, a frustrated statement on the state of rock and roll, and (more importantly) one bass player.

Pierre, formerly of Bradford Musical, was won over by these booze-fuelled antics, and completed the line-up. Canadian 'Beatman Ben' had already been lured in to deliver that suggestive drive and together they form the basis for Neil (lead vocal) and Paul’s (lead guitar) interlacing guitars.

For Neil and Paul this is somewhat of a reunion, their first attempt at a band meeting a premature end in a Cork deli. Separate attempts in bands TcT and The Hinges. However, a random jam in a mutual friend's lounge formed the basis of their exposure track 'Bassy' and gave birth to The Hertz Complex.

THC, as they are sometimes referred to, have set up camp in Deptford, playing post punk lo-fi to anyone who comes to listen.

They have been notable on the London circuit following their first fully formed set in Camden in October 2012 and an EP is expected in the first half of 2013 - don't miss it!
