The High Strung

With fruit cut from the likes of The Small Faces and The Kinks, The High Strung has grafted itself a startlingly unique pop identity. Kaleidoscopic guitars, mellifluous harmonies and spastic rhythms layered over phantom melody. The Character of The High Strung was born in the post-Stooges confusion of modern Detroit. A wretched boy force-fed Ritalin; he defied even his punk-rock brethren by spinning only his parent’s dusty records, circa British Invasion. Ironically discovering the perfect outlet for his nervous energy, and turning-over a manic motor with seemingly endless fuel reserves.
