Bio

2009.
Two friends bump into each other. After sharing many live stages, in the company of their rockband ‘Jimmyhat’, Dennis Holswilder and Vincent Buitenbos want to create chemistry once more!
A brand new band, with international ambition.
In the summer of 2009, a three song demo is delivered, the website is being made and a new image and band logo created.
A big compliment from QOTSA drummer Joey Castillo, who advised them to release the three songs immediately, was considered a sign.
It was time to push forward.
Time to recruit THH members!
Four cool characters were spotted close to home. With their different musical backgrounds and performing live experiences, playing for Kraak en Smaak, Ska-d-Lite and Sonny Griffin, they formed the perfect combination.
Although THH was too late to sign in for the cultural season, they managed to wheel in some great gigs at L.V.C. Leiden, TexFree Festival Venlo, Panama and Paradiso Amsterdam.
Soon they captured multiple spots on internet- and radio chart lists. KINK FM listeners voted THH to the number one position, as did the visitors of Labtones.com and Next-Best-Band.nl.
In 2010 The Hilton Halo decided it was time to take their music to the next level.
A producer had to be found, who could turn their musical ideas into professional recordings.
Unfortunately money and time were in the way of finding the perfect man for the job. After kindly declining a record deal, Holland had no more candidates to offer.
After this small setback, THH regained their strength and started emailing producers abroad. Three American favorites were approached. The following morning there was a positive response from Los Angeles, California. Producer Greg Gordon wanted to add The Hilton Halo to his impressive list of bands he has worked with. Slayer, System of a Down, Oasis and Triggerfinger are just a few of many, Gordon has produced.
In March 2011 THH was off to L.A. to record “LOVER”, “I BELIEVE IN LOVE TODAY” and “YOUR MAN”, in Redstar Studio, Los Angeles.
After a great collaboration of two weeks with Greg Gordon, the three singles were taken care of by Master legend Fred Kevorkian in New York.
Now THH’s brand new single “LOVER” is on its way to all the popular radio stations and available on all the renowned download sites.
And although the six headed rock formation wants to conquer Holland as fast as possible, there are no boundaries to their ambitious plans!
With Dennis Holswilder behind the mic,
Vincent Buitenbos and Wouter Keuris on guitars,
Stephan Buitenbos on keys,
Marco de Meijer on bass
And Ron Doove on drums,
The Hilton Halo delivers a great show, containing sharp guitar licks and pumping bass lines.
Dressed in black, they impress every crowd. Leaving everyone yearning for more!
