Relentless in their pursuit of the amateur amid a world of dreary professionalists, this East Bay twosome is pioneering a new cult of Hobbyisma movement some say--characterized by persistent irreverence, infectious harmonies, old & weathered acoustic guitars, rapid mood-cycling, autoharps, crafts-appreciation, harmonicas, cut'n'paste, banjos, blogs, pump organs, fine food, drink and worldwide high-speed trains.
Revolutionary in tone, ascendent in spirit--an unintended consequence of global currency devaluation, or global warming perhaps--The Hobbyists anthem is one of hope, sung with echoes of country, bluegrass and traditional American folk.
