The Hole in the Wall Gang

The Hole in the Wall Gang

A five piece Midwest rock and country band. A blue collar group that identifies with working hard for a living and understands that anything worth having doesn't come easy. With influences ranging from Country to Rock, Blues and bluegrass. Chances are if it's happened to you we've got a song for it

A little bit of down home with a touch of dirty, driving country is what you get when three of the original members of Blues For Dharma joined together with local singer sonwriter Gary Harney. A group of four with more than a decade of friendship behind them and more stories of hell raising and heartbreak that could rival any road weary band in the last 20 years. We know what it's like to spend all week sweating for a dollar just to find your still a couple short of having anything. We've all grown up on the legends of our time listening to the likes of Hank Williams, Eric Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughn, Waylon Jennings, Willie Nelson, The Greatful Dead and that barely touches the surface. We absorb everything we can get our ears on old, new and local. When you spend an evening with The Hole in the Wall Gang your going to spend a night listening to songs you can feel and relate to. From the foot stomping guitar riffs to the heartbreaking sounds of love, loss, and sobering up.

Mason Jar

Written By: Gary Harney

Mason Jar

I've got a dream and an old guitar

a hundred bucks in a mason jar

I've been saving up all year

I'm not sure how far I'll get

I ain't thought about that yet

long as it's far from here

That flashing red light at the edge

of town ain't gonna stop or slow me down

this time

Theres a million miles of road up in

front of me I know except for where it ends

I won't live with the regret of a dream that

aint been met just to keep from sin

So dry your eyes one last time

Wish me luck and say goodbye while

your still mine

We are currently in the studio working on our first collective LP.
