"The Holland Account put on a awesome performance last night. Very noteable no doubt, was the intense energy from the singer as he jump and whipped around on stage. 'Rocker sweat' flew everywhere as vocalist Shultz sang and screamed his heart out. His vocals carried extremely well considered they were live and a lot of times, heavy metal/rockers tend to let their music overplay the vocals. But not in this case. As an eclectic group of individuals The Holland Account is rarely described in a few words. As a five piece metalcore band from Indianapolis they have fought to meld melodic harmonies and blistering blast beats to create a sound all their own. From Elliott, Shultz, Gumby, Brandon, and Zack their influences range all over the grid... From Mindless Self Indulgence to Motorhead... From System of a Down to DreamTheatre... Coming together in late 2004 with only a bass player to finish the line up, they worked out of their living room with a nightly visit from the police; often paying noise disturbance ticket the next morning. Adding bass in early 2005, The Holland Account was now complete and eager to shake the foundation of what people used to know. The energy produced from these boys on stage is a show in itself ... Controlled chaos with a soundtrack... one that will leave you wanting more..
