The Honey Tongue Devils re-kindle the raw energy, emotion, and power of vintage heavy Americana roots music with a passionate debut album and live show that leaves us wishing the house lights would never come on. They capture the heart and heaviness of their influences, ranging from Gram Parsons and Bob Dylan, to Black Sabbath, faces, and the Stones. Their songs sound vintage and pure. The Honey Tongue Devils are one of those rare bands that write great songs and perform a powerful dynamic live show. The band, consisting of songwriter and guitarist Mark Lauritzen, singer Bobby Joyner, bassist Jokin Salverria, Guitarist Dan Wistrom, and drummer Hec Salgado, evolved in 2007 from the Laurel Canyon California hills artist scene and have gained the respect of their peers as well as the love of music fans across the world for their great songs and passionate performance. While members of the band have spent the last few years each taking more lucrative gigs touring with other artists, the devils are set to reconvene in 2013 to record their next record.
