The Hoolie Snatch

Maybe it was just a co-incidence that Pat was going into his first year for Music Industry Arts at Fanshawe College in London the same year Eric was attending Fanshawe. Perhaps it was lucky that Jenn was finishing her Bachelor of Music at the University of Ottawa the semester before Eric was due in London. Whatever it was, it was written in the stars that Jenn Kee, Eric Walker, Eric Scott and Pat Maloney would unite as 'The Hoolie Snatch' on September 29th of 2005 onstage in a talent showcase hosted by Fanshawe’s Music Indusrty Arts program. Throughout the fall and into the winter, the foursome was asked in to perform as studio musicians for a number of Fanshawe's MIA studio projects and because of this were able to record the bands first output as a band, "First Four Months" Demo EP. Recently emerging first place at the Campus Music Explosion finals at York University, The Hoolie Snatch will be performing at the Canadian Organization of Campus Activities National Conference on June 15th. So keep an ear to the ground for rootsy, gutsy rock and roll…it just might be…The Hoolie Snatch.
