The Hot Botz Brass Band

Paul, Jack and Joel started off meeting at the Royal Northern College of Music in manchester and quickly decided it would be a good idea to busk their way around europe using only the money generated by playing in the freezing cold... they managed over 15 cities without crying... well not in front of anyone anyway.
After this they were joined by Alex on drums who has a background of producing electronic music. Over a 2 week recidency at channel fours udder belly stage at Edinbrough festival 2010 they honed a new electronic/dance/dubstep live sound as opposed to the usual brass band antics.
They decided to record these songs written by Joel Cooper, and produced/arranged/engineered by Alex Platt.
After gigging these sounds they quickly got a following and started to play gigs at club nights after DJ's and crowds loved it! We decided to get a bigger sound adding two more brass. Now they are joined on stage by Mc Smee who gets crowds involved in the shows and adds a cool vocal element. Making them the coolest brass band in dance music!
