Bio

the Human Echo is an amalgamation of influenced participants consisting of Jason (drums), Christopher (bass), Lea Jo (keys, synth, sampler), and Eugenio (vocals and guitar).

The group began as a porch project in Tampa amongst the mass underground punk and quasi-progressive indie culture in early 2003. As a collective, they built a more robust sound consisting of dark melodies bound to driving rhythms sprinkled with delicate harmonies. The first full-length CD, Sonic Blanket, released in late 2004 discharged more "headphone candy" to the southeast as eloquently stated by Scott Harrell in his review for the Weekly Planet.

the Human Echo has been touring the south east region since its incarnation in 2003. In support of Sonic Blanket, the Human Echo toured the eastern U.S. extensively opening for such acts as the Speaking Canaries, Pilot to Gunner, Blue Sky Mile, and Jucifer and spanning from Tampa to New Orleans to Detroit to Atlanta. Through constant bootstrap touring within the local scenes, the Human Echo has built a following in the southeast. The opportunity to gain exposure on the west coast and the more concentrated amount of scene support has led the group to transition their base of operation to Seattle. Equipped with a new full length recording, carried on by voices in a song, and the clearly defined goal of expanding from a regional band into a viable touring act both nationally and internationally, the Human Echo is dedicated to spreading the sounds they love. Recently they embarked on their first west coast tour spanning as far south as San Diego and returning to Seattle through Las Vegas and Salt Lake City. Future prospects will include another West coast excursion routing through Texas consuming September and August of 2007.
