Bio
the human fly began in late 2011 following a tragic incident that led to the creation of 'everything feels bad all at once,' a sprawling 16-track acoustic record that garnered much praise from smaller journalistic outlets. despite the record's soft nods to artists such as bonnie "prince" billy and giles corey, it was obvious that the human fly had to expand beyond one person.
Taking cues from everything from Mudhoney to Mount Eerie, from JEFF the Brotherhood to Slint, the result was a brutalizing, highly energetic 3-piece band that dramatically reworked most of the songs from that original release in 'Everything II: Variations on a Theme,' a record that marked the next step in the life of the human fly. The band is currently focusing on touring and releasing the two records on vinyl with a small label from Connecticut.
