Bio

The Hung Jury consists of 4 members each of whom bring their own distinct style to create this wonderful sound. The Frontman is Malcolm Jack Biddle. Think, Mick Jagger, Van Morrison and Iggy Pop thrown in a blender and Malcolm is your result. This guy sings nasty and dirty but writes lyrics unlike anything else. Evidence of this can be found on Levitation and Flatscreen Dreams. Its chilling hearing him in full force. He also plays 12 string acoustic guitar on most of the songs which gives the Jury a very unique sound. He also brings out harmonica on some songs and lays out great solos on Diamond Eyes and This is for you. These 3 combinations is what sets him apart from other frontmen. The next member is Eric Sanche Lefebvre. Think of a Jack Bruce lead bassline and a Paul MaCartney voice. His basslines are freaky funky. His constant moving basslines are what drives that Hung Jury sound. He also sings lead on a few songs like Diamond Eyes and You're So Fine where his range is evident. Dave Greene, the lead guitar player, plays a style that seems to be missing in music these days. You dont really notice him until a solo comes out and bites you in your ass but its the best sensation ever. Owen Lewis is not just another drummer. Think of a Mitch Mitchell and Chad Smith stirred into one. He has a knack for phazing in and out of complex rythyms such as The River and laying down a nasty funk feel on This Is For You. His shots and syncopation are fantastic.
