Despite numerous reports that Penance Soiree would be released by the end of 2003, the date has been pushed back and now finally is confirmed to be April 26th in the UK and May 4th in the US. The first single from the new album, Up Against The Wall Motherfuckers has already been released in the UK, and a second, Party The Baby Off, will be released on May 10th.
It looks like were gonna hear a lot from The Icarus Line in 2004. The short tour of the UK with Primal Scream is over and a single has been released, but with a tour of the US with The Distillers happening right now, the upcoming second single and of course the long awaited new album, there is still a lot more to come: more chaos, more destruction, more music.
