Born in Sienna,Italy and imported to Philly,Pa. by way of New York this long time dj, remixer, and producer is one of the major contributors to the hip hop culture birth and dance communities of philadelphia, and the surrounding tri state. Having been influenced by and having worked with such great names as Tony Humphries, Timmy Regisford, Louie Vega, Phil Dickerson, Terry Hunter, Maurice Joshua, Terry 'tee' alford, Cool Herc, Afrikka Bambaata,King Britt,Josh Wink,Dozia, and countless others, dj lance was the first retail/radio billboard reporter in philadelphia of the 80's to actually work in both radio(wdas & power 99fm)doing drive time mixes and the retail music industry simultaneously infusing his eclectic hiphop/dance music stlye during his mix shows and live in the club circuit . This valuable strenght along with his vast knowledge of music from big band to rock and his uncanny knack and ear for a hit made him the prize of the philadelphia music community especially in the hip hop circle where he has befriended such names as Dj Cash Money,Dj Jazzy Jeff,Dj Lightning Rich,Dj Miz,Dj Groove,Dj Tat Money,Cool Dj Frank,Cosmic Kev, Cool Dj Red Alert,Dj Roc Raida,Qbert,Magic Mike, Mr.Magic and many more. Lance has received many awards and plaques for his contributions to the industry from platinum albums certifications to retail/radio awards;however his most proud moment was being honored for a lifetime achievement by the local hip hop hall of fame by his peers and announced and recognized by the Needlewreck Record Pool of Phila,Pa. Lance is currently producing tracks for various rap artist and the dance community @ large from his home studio 4015 where his is currently remixing maxwell's Pretty Wings and Bad Habits along with current production release of exclusive da troopa's no hooks & gotta keep your head up due out january 2010. Lance has held numorous residencies in Phila,Pa. during the 80s,90s, and even as recently as 2008 in such clubs as Impulse,Lazorra,Mystique,Millenium,mansion,Champagne,club Zanzibar; Dj Lance currently holds a residency @ the Kennel club and Eight Floor night club in the Chinatown district of Boston,Ma. where he spins the wickedest after hours party ever!!!
