You don’t think of fast, loud rock music as uplifting or inspirational but The Infected’s harsh, dark lyrics veil a message of hope and the belief that an individual can prevail over societal constraints and life’s tragedies. The hard hitting, guitar driven music has an air of sophistication that exceeds the age of its players. With elements of thrash metal and punk, the Infected have developed a contagious sound that is uniquely their own.
The Infected has wowed fans of the bands they have shared the stage with, including Leftover Crack, The Swingin' Utters, The Casualties, Flatfoot 56, Shot Baker, and many others. The band’s high-energy performances of original music draw crowds into the show, transforming their every gig into big party with incredible music.
The Infected will record a new full length album in September at Central City Recording in Columbus, Ohio. Tentative release date set for October 13 2009.
