Bio
The Inferno had its beginings two years ago where all the members went to the College of Music at Montclair State University. Although their influences are varied all members had a common interest in playing progressive music with an emphasis on improvisation. John comes from a background of brass and high note trumpet playing while Jeff and Dante had their foundations in rock, metal, and funk. Sulamian brought some soul to the group, adding much latin and r and b flavor. All members have a common interest in Jazz and fusion and above all any music that rocks and makes you move. Some of our influences include, Jimi Hendrix, Miles Davis, Maynard Fergeson, John Coltrane, Led Zepplin, John Scofield, Herbie Hancock, The Allman Brothers, Arturo Sandaval, MMW, Pantera, Judas Priest, Van Halen, Joe Satriani, Phish, Moe., Derrek Trucks, George Benson, Joe Pass, Ron Carter, Sly and the Family Stone to name a few
