"PANTERA - Fans Get DIMEBAG Tribute Tattoos: Photos Available"

PANTERA - Fans Get DIMEBAG Tribute Tattoos: Photos Available
Two huge fans of the late guitarist "Dimebag" Darrell Abbott (PANTERA DAMAGEPLAN), who decided to pay tribute to their fallen hero by getting tattoos in memory of him, will be featured on the premiere episode of the Fuse TV program "d'FUSEd: Ink'd and Jab'd".

Lenny and Jeff Cerzosie, who make up the acoustic brother-duo THE INFINITE STAIRCASE out of Staten Island, New York, were filmed while getting tattooed at New York Hardcore Tattoos & Piercing, the New York City-based shop owned by members of MURPHY'S LAW and AGNOSTIC FRONT.

With PANTERA's "The Great Southern Trendkill" playing in the background, Vinnie Stigma from AGNOSTIC FRONT (half-owner of New York Hardcore Tattoos) told stories about touring and hanging out with Philip Anselmo, Dimebag Darrell and Jamey Jasta (HATEBREED), while tattoo artist extraordinaire Elvis, a native Texan, talked about how he grew up with Dime.

"d'FUSEd: Ink'd and Jab'd" will premiere on Tuesday, January 25 at 7:30 p.m. EST on Fuse. More information is available at this location. [http://www.fuse.tv/content/specials/index.php?page=2&id=227&show=1&search_string=]

"Rockers unite for MS benefit"

Rockers unite for MS benefit

Call it music stew.

Bands from around the country cater to a gamut of tastes Saturday at an all-day outdoor concert at the Trotters Motorcycle Club in Travis.

The event, a benefit for the Montel Williams Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, features Someone Else, the borough's classic/modern rock and blues outfit and heavy metal thrashers from Alabama and Delaware.

The bill's headliner is Kevin Martin, former frontman of the post-grunge '90s band, Candlebox. He released a solo album, "The Possibility Of Being" in 2003 on his own label. Today, he heads the Hiwatts.

Organizers Jeffrey and Leonard Cerzosie Jr. of Eltingville, who perform as an acoustic duo called the Infinite Staircase, planned the event, in part, for their dad, Leonard Sr. He was diagnosed with multiple sclerosis eight years ago.

Admission is a $15 donation for adults 21 and older and $10 for anyone younger. The fee covers free beer, soda and food. The Trotters Club is at 1601 South Ave., Travis.

Bio

Formed around 2001-2002, Carrying on the brotherhood in Rock, brothers Lenny and Jeff Cerzosie formed the basis for what would ultimately become The Infinite Staircase. Now joined by fellow musician Jared Hreha on Bass, the band is working harder than ever to bring their dreams to reality and their music to the masses.

In the past few years alone, the band has INDEPENDENTLY managed to get featured on Fuse TV, perform on former Saturday Night Live Comedian Jim Breuer’s Sirius Satellite Radio Show, get featured in the March 2008 issue of Metal Edge Magazine (with a song being used on that issue’s CD Sampler) as well as Tour with Black Label Society, Sevendust, & Dope and sporadically open for the likes of: CANDLEBOX, Jonathan Davis of Korn, HELLYEAH, Sevendust, Alter Bridge, Otep, Bloodsimple, The Hiwatts, W.A.S.P, L.A. Guns, White Lion, Lillian Axe, Eddie Ojeda of Twisted Sister, and many more…

Fresh off an 18 Date Tour with Legendary Ozzy Osbourne Guitarist ZAKK WYLDE and his brand of sonically assaulting metal with band BLACK LABEL SOCIETY along with SEVENDUST & DOPE, in 2009 The Infinite Staircase has officially made their name a recognized force to be reckoned with.

In addition to self-managing their way onto their first Major Tour, The Infinite Staircase also released their full length debut album entitled “The Road Less Taken” in March 2009. The 13-song album is mixed and includes a guest appearance by Former Poison band member and guitar virtuoso BLUES SARACENO in addition to a guest appearance by Legendary Guitarist Earl Slick, currently of the David Bowie band and Slinky Vagabond. The Road Less Taken encompasses the raw emotional energy that runs through the veins of the band from their acoustic beginnings to their most recent harnessing of Hard Rock and Heavy Metal output.

But it looks as though 2009 will bring more musical out-put from The Infinite Staircase as they prepare to record their own version of Buckcherry’s “Helpless” for a Tribute album and will re-enter the studio this Summer/Fall with acclaimed producer Dave Allen (BLACK LABEL SOCIETY) to begin work on a follow up EP. The band’s first ever DVD is also planned to be released sometime in 2009.
