Strathpeffer based three piece power rock with a much bigger sound than the sum of its parts. Guitar, drums, bass, piano, synth and harmony vocals are all in there yet there are only three of them. New songs, new direction, and new trousers mark the start of a new era for the band, who’ve created a chivalrous brand of epic-themed music with influences such as Radiohead, Muse and Pink Floyd. This brave move has encouraged critics to say ‘nothing’. With the worry of the imminent Mayan apocalypse in 2012, the Influence are yearning to pursue their dying wish and impart heroic tales of bygone eras to unsuspecting squires in this world and the next.
