The Ingredients

The Ingredients live to preform in a live setting. Since forming at George School in 2003 the band has spread its original, high energy rock ‘n’ roll and infectious dance music to listeners all over the east coast. Since leaving Newtown, Pennsylvania, the Ingredients have solidified their high-energy shows in their new home of Ithaca, NY.

Fans describe The Ingredients’ music as a blend of hard rock, funk and reggae. Unlike many bands with similar influences, The Ingredients steer clear of self-indulgent jams and pretentious lyrics. Their sound can be described as a mix of the Red Hot Chili Peppers, Sublime and Phish. Shows always involve audience participation, coordinated dance-moves and frequently include guest artists such as Symphony, a Rochester based rapper and Madhava Hansen of the Neighbours. Promoters and club owners can expect nothing but professionalism and bang for their buck from this group of talented young men.
